The Mama Mission Project
Mama on a Mission
Mama on a Mission is a program designed to assist and empower young pregnant women between the ages of 14 and 22 as they embark on the journey of motherhood. This initiative is focused on helping young mothers acquire and retain essential life skills that will not only facilitate their transition into motherhood but also promote personal development and self-reliance.
Through a holistic approach, Mama on a Mission is designed to meet young mothers’ specific needs, including educational assistance, financial literacy training, workforce readiness, childbirth and reproductive education, and parenting guidance. These services are intended to provide young mothers with the necessary tools and knowledge to complete high school and pursue higher education or vocational training or licensure, become financially competent and confident, and effectively navigate the responsibilities of parenting.
By collaborating with educational institutions, community groups, and healthcare professionals, The Mama Mission Project ensures that young mothers can access the resources and assistance required to reach their goals and build a brighter future for themselves and their children.
