Reproductive Education

Our Reproductive Health Education course is designed to provide a thorough and evidence-based understanding of reproductive health, covering everything from the reproductive cycle to various birth control options. Participants will gain a strong foundation in reproductive health and its importance through interactive conversations, educational resources, and visual aids. Topics will include the different stages of the reproductive cycle—such as menstruation, ovulation, and fertilization—as well as an overview of contraceptive methods like barrier methods, hormonal methods, and long-acting reversible contraceptives. The curriculum will also explore the significance of family planning, strategies for abstinence, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, consent, communication techniques, and the role of fertility awareness in promoting reproductive health.

Childbirth Education

Preparing for the journey of childbirth requires both physical and mental readiness. This comprehensive class will cover essential topics to help you prepare your mind and body for the birthing process. You'll learn about the various stages of labor, effective breathwork techniques to manage pain during contractions, as well as different labor positions that can facilitate a more comfortable experience. Pain relief options, including natural methods and medical interventions, will be discussed so you can make educated decisions about your pain management during labor.

Confidence-building exercises and decision-making strategies will empower you to make informed choices and develop a personalized birth plan aligned with your values. We'll also explore cesarean births and provide information on postpartum planning and recovery for both yourself and your newborn in the days following birth.

Becoming a new parent can be a mix of excitement and anxiety as you welcome your newborn home.

Throughout the first year of your baby's life, you will face new experiences and challenges. Our baby care class is designed to help you navigate this new journey with confidence. We cover essential topics such as the importance of regular check-ups and vaccinations, creating a safe environment for your baby, adjusting emotionally and practically to parenthood, and finding the right balance between career and childcare. We will explore the significance of establishing a support system involving family, friends, and community resources to facilitate a smoother transition. Additionally, we will delve into strategies on how to effectively become your child's primary educator from infancy to the crucial early years of brain development.

This class will also have an infant certification component (optional)

Breastfeeding Basics

Get ready for a bond like never before!

Throughout this 2 hour class, we will delve into the advantages of breastfeeding, explore various nursing positions, teach you how to identify hunger cues in your little one, master the art of proper latching, discover effective pumping methods, learn the correct way to store that liquid gold, and help you set realistic expectations for your breastfeeding journey.
